Umbria International Airport

Perugia has a small international airport called Umbria International Airport "San Francesco D'Assisi". Among other destinations, the Perugia airport is connected to Milan Linate (with Alitalia), to Bruxelles Charleroi (with Ryanair), and to London Stansted (with Ryanair). Rome FCO Airport

If you cannot take a direct flight to Perugia, we suggest to fly to Rome FCO, which is the main Italian airport and about 200 Km far from Perugia.

From Rome FCO to Perugia BY BUS

The bus companies Flixbus and Sulga offer bus routes from Rome FCO to Perugia. Alternatively, one can first go by train to the Tiburtina station in Rome. A direct train starts in Rome FCO every 15 minutes and takes 48 minutes to get to the Tiburtina station. Once in Tiburtina station, there are more bus options: Flixbus, Marino bus, Sulga.

  • On Sunday 13, there is a SULGA bus leaving from FCO airport at 16:30 and arriving in Perugia (city center, P.zza Partigiani) at 20:15; tickets must be bought here.
  • On Sunday 13, there are also multiple FLIXBUS buses leaving from Tiburtina station both in the morning at in the afternoon and arriving in Perugia (city center, P.zza Partigiani) within 2 hours and 20 minutes; see the results here.
